The Human Resource Office is a Joint (Army/Air) staff function reporting to the Adjutant General.
The Director for Human Resources and his Deputy oversee and administer personnel programs relating to both federal technician employees and Active Guard Reserve (AGR) members of the Ohio National Guard.

The office is organized as follows:

Technician Branch
Responsible for all administrative actions for federal technicians

AGR Branch
Responsible for all administrative actions for AGR personnel.

Special Staff
Administers labor relations, disciplinary actions, and equal opportunity

State HR Branch
Responsible for all administrative actions for state employees.
